Student teacher looks for new ways to strike the right chord with classes

Student teaching is the final hurdle before education majors step into their own classrooms. It is always a bit of a daunting task to finally put all that they have learned into practice in a classroom, but to student teach in a virtual environment presents challenges on a whole new level. Now, imagine combining that with the task of teaching courses that rely on hands-on teaching as well as being able to see and hear students clearly in a performance environment. That is what student teacher Jessica Davlin is taking on as she works under the watchful eye of guitar teacher Traci Bolton this quarter.
