The Diablo Ladies Rodeo Drill Team from Livermore performed a horseback routine during the Women of Rodeo show at Cow Palace on Oct. 4. In previous years, the San Francisco Police Department’s (SFPD) mounted unit would perform during such events. “They just stopped the last two years, because the police department is short, so the mounted unit is much smaller,” said Susan Rolovich, a former SFPD senior police officer.
