Dr. Jesse Kavadlo is many things: A professor of English at Maryville University by day, and a rockstar by night. Recently, Dr. Kavadlo wrote a book called “Rock of Pages” where he analyzes the thematic connections between 80s heavy metal and classic literature. Kavadlo visited MHS to read excerpts from his book and to play alongside one of Marquette’s student rock bands, Fretbuzz.
